Consulting
When the Goal Is Clear but the Path Is Blocked
Strategic consulting for small groups who are committed to a shared goal — but struggling to achieve it because of relational tension, misalignment, or perceived obstacles.
The Work
Strategy Is Only as Strong as the Relationships Behind It
Most strategic planning processes focus on the goal. What they miss is the relational infrastructure required to achieve it. When the people working toward a goal are in conflict — or simply not aligned — even the best strategy will stall.
My consulting work sits at the intersection of strategy and relationship. I work with small groups to surface the relational dynamics that are creating friction, develop a shared understanding of the goal, and build the communication practices needed to move forward with clarity and commitment.
My Approach
How I Work
Listen and Assess
I begin by listening — to each person, to the group, and to the space between them. Through structured conversations and observation, I develop a clear picture of where the relational friction lives and what it is costing the group.
Surface and Align
Together, we surface the assumptions, expectations, and unspoken disagreements that are driving conflict. I facilitate a process of honest, structured dialogue that moves the group toward a shared understanding of the goal and each other.
Strategize and Commit
With alignment charted, we develop a concrete strategy for moving forward — one that accounts for the relational dynamics at play and builds in the communication practices needed to sustain progress over time.
Who Is This For?
Consulting engagements are designed for small groups of 3–12 people, including:
- Leadership teams navigating internal conflict
- Business partners working through a strategic impasse
- Nonprofit boards or committees in transition
- Family businesses managing relational and professional dynamics
- Community organizations working toward a shared goal
Let's Talk About Your Group
Every consulting engagement begins with a conversation. Tell me about your group, your goal, and where things are getting stuck — and we will figure out together whether I can help.
